Azteca Foods Europe was formed in 1999 following the creation of a joint venture between Azteca Foods Inc. Illinois, USA (www.aztecafoods.com) and Azteca del Maiz, which was set up in 1995 and sold to a group of Spanish entrepreneurs in 1998.

At Azteca we manufacture hot pressed fresh flour tortillas and corn tortillas for the food service and retail markets. Our company is the leading tortilla manufacturer in Spain and a leading player throughout the EU.

We benefit from the over twenty five years manufacturing know how and experience of Azteca Foods Inc., in the world's most competitive tortilla market and also from the flexibility and enthusiasm of a young company growing at a rate of fifty percent year on year.

Our main goal is to continue raising our product quality, in an effort to win new customers as well fully support our existing ones, who value quality products accompanied by individual customer service.
