Azteca, the guarantee of quality

With the building and design of the new plant in Borox, Toledo, Azteca Foods now stands at the technological forefront of the industry. Its facilities, set in 12,000 sq. m. of land, are one of the most modern in Europe for the production of tortillas.

The effort made by AZTECA to quality is backed up by the Halal certification for consumption by the Muslim market and the receipt of the following certifications:

• BCR (British Retail Corsortium), “A” from June 2009
• IFS (International Foods Standard), in the highest grade, from June 2009
• Certification of nutritional safety in accordance to the ISO 22000:2005 norm, from June 2009

Thanks to this, AZTECA is now the fifth Spanish company with triple certification, the third in the agricultural sector of Nutrition and the first in the Castilla La Mancha region.

Thanks to an advanced waste management system, its production system is characterized by the strictest respect for the environment.
