In Azteca we produce fresh flour and corn pressed tortillas for the catering and restaurant market and for hypermarkets. Our company is the leading producer of products of this kind in Spain, and one of the most important producers in the European Community. Azteca Foods Europe emerged in 1999 as the outcome of a joint venture between two leading companies: on the one hand, the North American expert, Azteca Foods Inc., which boasts more than 30 years’ experience in the king of markets for the Mexican tortilla, the United States; and on the other, Azteca del Maíz, one of the pioneering firms in this business, with a thorough knowledge of the Spanish market.
